Teams A-Z + Teams by Industry + Ryerson

Mejuri is an online fine jewelry company that leverages crowdsourcing to produce unique, in-demand jewelry pieces.

Mejuri sells fine jewelry created by designers from all over the world. The process is simple: Jewelry designers upload their unique designs, the crowd votes on their favourite designs, then Mejuri manufacturers the winning designs and sells them online. Mejuri uses the finest materials and has top quality craftsmanship. As a designer, working with Mejuri is easy.  Designers need only submit their designs Mejuri takes care of all the details, including sourcing the materials, manufacturing, and all other production logistics. Designers also earn royalties on each piece sold. The more the designers are active, the greater the percentage of royalties they receive. In addition, designers get recognition for their submissions; Mejuri promotes them and markets their work both online and offline.

Market Need

The fine jewelry industry has seen little innovation in the Internet age. Increasingly fine jewelry lovers want to make purchases online, but have very few options. At the same time, talented jewelry designers find it difficult to get their designs to market. Mejuri solves both these problems by offering the first and only crowdsourcing platform for designers to showcase their original pieces and for consumers to purchase unique fine jewelry items.
