Media Spot Me builds online directories that are used by the media to find subject matter experts.

Media Spot Me webinlineMedia Spot Me builds online directories that allow the user to search for experts quickly and easily. Media Spot Me’s core product is a white label solution to allow for an organization’s experts to be more searchable and accessible to media. The software is cloud-based and customizable, lowering IT costs and making it easy for organizations to update and maintain. Media Spot Me also operates a comprehensive platform for journalists to find academic experts across many institutions. Currently, the media database lists 15,000 North American experts. Users can search by name, academic program or areas of expertise.

Market Need

Most existing organizational media directories are either underused due to outdated software and poor design, or have been abandoned due to ongoing maintenance costs. Media Spot Me’s directory increases exposure for academics by allowing media to more easily locate experts for interviews and comments.
