CF DealRoom is Closing Folders’ online system for managing legal transactions in the areas of corporate, commercial and securities law. CF DealRoom is secure, intuitive and fully automatic. Most importantly, it is completely tailor-made for lawyers and law firms, which means that it integrates seamlessly into their existing workflows while safeguarding their professional, ethical and privacy requirements. On CF DealRoom, documents are organized as an interactive closing agenda, a task list format familiar to transactional lawyers. The system handles version controls, coordinates the execution of signature pages, and automatically generates closing books and indices.
The world’s most complicated legal transactions are currently managed by email and tracked by printing documents. Human errors, redundant work and security risks are pervasive in this process, which exposes firms to embarrassment and costly errors. Furthermore, final closing documents are potentially inconsistent from one firm to another. Emails can also be intercepted or inadvertently sent to an incorrect address. Client service lags and lawyers often end up billing for time that is written off because clients refuse to pay for it. Closing Folders solves all these issues as the only workflow management system developed by lawyers for law firms. CF DealRoom ensures security and expediency, while improving profit margins.
